Roman blinds

Independent demand

Roman blinds are an elegant and modern solution for window shading. The variety of fabrics available ensures that you can find a pattern suitable for your unique interior.

Roman blinds can be simply described as horizontally folded systems made from any type of fabric. They are operated using a chain or cord. Roman blinds can be made from thicker fabrics, which create fuller and more decorative folds, or from transparent fabrics for a lighter effect.

Roman blinds are designed to shade windows, but they are often used in a partially raised position, serving primarily as decoration. They are popular in kitchens, allowing homeowners to cook while enjoying a view of the garden. If sunlight is too strong, the blind can simply be lowered slightly to block incoming rays.

The system consists of a white aluminium rail and two brackets mounted on the wall, into which the rail snaps easily. The mechanism can also be installed on the ceiling. The fabric is attached to the mechanism using Velcro and gathering tapes, allowing for easy removal for washing and reattachment.

Horizontal pockets in the fabric hold plastic rods. The blind is raised or lowered using a cord and stops automatically at the desired height. When fully raised, the fabric forms evenly stacked folds. The locking mechanism allows easy adjustment to any height, with the standard cord positioned on the right side of the blind. The blind ends with a straight bottom edge.

Fabrics from the Roman blinds collection can also be used for Japanese sliding panels and curtains.
